  My rabbit began experiencing paralysis on a Sunday morning. I called ahead to make sure this vet treats rabbits and was told that they do, so I immediately went to the clinic. We waited four hours for assistance, and the paralysis continued to worsen. Upon consultation with the veterinarian, subcutaneous fluids were the only treatment provided, along with the suggestion that we visit our regular vet. I consulted with a different emergency vet approximately 14 hours later, who provided spinal x- rays, along with anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic, and antibiotic medication. I then consulted with our non-emergency vet who confirmed that this is the appropriate course of action for a rabbit with progressive paralysis. I was informed that these medications are the standard of care and have very little risk of side effects, whereas not providing these medications allows the root cause of the paralysis to continue causing damage. I feel that their lack of care allowed him to get much worse before he got the medication he needed. To add insult to injury, they refused the refund my fee, and stand by their lack of service. Save your time and money (and lots of heartache) and go to the emergency clinic on Powers.

  This is the second time I've had to bring one of my animals here for one reason or another. They are very compassionate and understanding people here. As well as being very patient. I would recommend this place to everybody who needs 24-hour animal ER care
