  Dr. Bertram totally took advantage of my sister! He also owns his own business called the Colorado Pain Institute. My sister was seen there. He wanted to inject her in her low back without even getting a MRI of her back. She insisted that he give her an MRI. She got her MRI and nobody called her with the results. So she called him and she was advised that she was "shot worthy" and asked her if any other doctor had seen the MRI..she said NO. So he injects her and a month or so later she is in so much pain and can't walk she ends up in the Emergency Room and was told she needs to see a neurosurgeon ASAP because she needs a 3 level fusion. The Neurosurgeon said HE SHOULD'VE REFEREED HER IMMEDIATELY TO A NEUROSURGEON WHEN HE SAW THE 1ST MRI.!!!!! HE ONLY SAW $ SIGNS AND DID NOT HAVE MY SISTERS BACK...NO PUN INTENDED! DISGRACEFUL! DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!

  I wouldn't trade Dr Verhey for nothing. He's a understanding Dr an listen to the patents. The staff has always been good to me very caring in what they do. Heck they even come to work without bitching an rather they started theere day of bad. .thanks from D.G.

  when i need relief for lower back pain, dr. verhey is the only doc in the state of colorado i will pay a visit to. i won't even consider anyone else. my sister, who lives in texas, also suffers from back pain. she gets jealous and envious when i tell her about how well of job dr. verhey does when i go see him.
