  Do you not know where pet stores get their dogs from? They are from puppy mills. You have no idea what you are getting. Why don't you adopt a dog. It's alot cheaper. I just got a puppy and it cost me $ 375 from the humane society. You get a free exam from a veterinarian and a free rabies vaccination and neutering if you go back to the humane society. Plus when you get them neutered there you get $50 back. Duh! that's far better than paying a $1000 or more dollars!!!

  I'll be honest I am not the biggest fan of buying pets from a store but after walking into this pet city location compared to the north mall I have to say I'm very impressed and my mind has changed about where I will get my next dog from. Their staff is knowledgeable of dogs and also were friendly to my son. Even tho the store was busy at the time I went, the employee Toni was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure we found the right type of dog for our son. It means a lot that the employees will take the time to get to know your needs, rather than just send you home with any dog. Will absolutely be going back.

  If you want good customer service and a healthy dog, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. We purchased our puppy from here just shy of a month ago. Sweetest thing ever, sadly she was kenneled in the same room as a puppy with kennel cough. So when we got her she was already on antibiotics, so part of their health guarantee that we signed said we had to take her to one of THEIR vets within 24 hours. So we did. She didn't display any symptoms and from the time we met her to the time we bought her and then took her to the vet, she MAYBE "coughed" 2x so when we were at the vet we told them all of that and she said, she's fine, no kennel cough and took her off the antibotics. Fast Forward to present day, our little puppy's cough has gotten worse to the point where we were like okay, I think she's probably got kennel cough we need to do something, so I called the store and spoke with Joe, whom said Debbie was who I needed to talk to, so I sent them her medical records and awaited her call. She called while I was in a meeting and I called her back as soon as I was out, but Joe answered and he went to get Debbie, whom I could hear in the back round talking to Joe. Joe came back to the phone and told me she stepped away she'd have to call me back...... So I said okay. She called me back again I was in a meeting, so she ended up calling my husband. Debbie told my husband that they only guarantee the health for 2 weeks and we are outside that, so as a compromise she'd cover the drugs but not the office visit, again at one of THEIR preferred offices. I'm like no. THEIR Doc took her off the meds. THEY should be responsible, THEIR store is where she got sick. So, I tell my husband, that's fine take her to the appointment that Debbie scheduled, I'll call her to discuss it, because that's not right. Linda answers the phone when I call and tells me she'll be right back to get Debbie, she comes back and asks who I am again and I can once again hear Debbie in the back talking to Linda, who says to me, oh Debbie says she already talked to your husband, I said... okay? And? I want to talk to Debbie, and Linda says, well she's like really busy doing like 3 things. I responded okay fine I'll call her back later then when she's less busy. But lets be real, this women is avoiding me. I COULD HEAR HER. So, I wouldn't ever refer anyone here. We got a sick dog. We were forced to use one of THEIR preferred vets. Told our dog was fine, and now here we are still with a sick dog and they aren't handling the situation IMO very well. They should know they've lost our business entirely. I was going to continue to buy her food their bc it's the best price at their store, and I would have probably then bought other stuff while we were there, but no longer. I can not believe how I was treated and brushed aside like that ... from the store manager!!!
