- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪After over 20 years of paying premiums, we finally had to file a claim. Oh yes, we dared to file a claim. To make a long story short, the company that was always SO willing to take our money, wanted nothing to do with us. We kept the Insurance Commissioner on speed dial for 6 months as we made call after call to her to get the money that was due to us. They managed to squirm through every tiny loophole in the law. We even got a local news station to do a consumer watchdog report on their despicable maneuvers. We finally had to settle for only a small portion of what we should have received. If you need insurance, stay FAR, FAR away from this company. I give them one star because there is nothing lower. Not that there could be a category low enough.June 07, 2017by Jeanne M.
