  I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr Ko, the Neurology team and the other staff members in the care of my little Isabella. We came to Powers Pet ER and Specialty at a time when her condition had created a low quality of life and uncertain outcome. After an intensive exam, treatment / medication plan and healing time ... Isabella is on the path to good health with a great quality of life and happiness. Based on her neurological diagnosis, she may start to decline again. If that day does happen, I'm confident the dedicated Neurology Team of Powers Pet Specialty will be right there with us trying to help her get back on track.

  Normally I would never post a negative review because sometimes things happen, but in this case I feel like I need to. Our family dog who was 20 years old passed away earlier this evening and I called and the staff was super caring on the phone. When we arrived I went inside to ask where we needed to bring her to say our final goodbyes and was promptly told they don't do that. We were given two options and that was for the "nurse" to come get her out of the car or for us to bring her in in front of other customers and hand her over. They said we were not allowed to go back to a room with her or anything while filling out paperwork that the paperwork could be filled out at the counter or in the car with our dog. I chose option 3 which was going to another pet ER that treated our family and deceased pet with care and compassion. I guess I just expected a little more understanding and kindness in a moment like that. I would highly suggest that this practice is changed because most people value their pets and treat them like family.
