  Five years ago, our daughter had a traumatic experience with a dentist where she was strapped to a papoose board and restrained in order to have work done on her teeth. She was 3 at the time and has hated the dentist ever since. Our daughter isn't a fan of being restrained in any way and probably struggles with minor claustrophobia. It's almost always a challenge when it comes time for the cleaning. Slowly, we're seeing improvement, and it gets better with each visit. The staff at RMPD are amazing. They speak calmly, reassure her, yet remain firm in explaining the work has to get done, and if she delays, they explain she's keeping the doctors away from their other patients. Despite our daughter's anxiety, the staff demonstrated their finesse and skill at what they do. They soothe all worries, and they were able to work with our daughter without any further measures being taken. In the end, our daughter came out all smiles and was even excited to try the new "mint" toothpaste as well as the flossing tools. She's growing up, and it's great seeing her blossom under the care of the staff here.
