  I do not recommend Dr. Batterson. She does not take ownership of her mistakes and becomes very hostile and callous during tough situations. I needed a new retainer and I trusted Dr. Batterson with that task. She is now telling me it is going to cost me thousands more dollars to correct this recent incident. I've had my braces off for over 4 years and she was the same Doctor that did them. I recently lost my retainer and had a new one made. Dr. Batterson "adjusted them" to align any teeth that may have shifted over the one week period I was without them. She gave them to me for free. Sounded really nice, unfortunately the adjustment she made, made my teeth noticeably crooked from when I initially came in. When I brought it to her attention, she agreed that she did not like how they shifted. She then tried to sell me Invisalign to fix it and gave me the "cheapest quote" out there. Yes that's right, now she wanted me to pay for another round of treatment! I expressed that I do not feel that it is fair that I have to pay for an entire treatment all over again, and if there were any other options. To which she said, there was nothing else she could do, and to "Go somewhere else and pay way more money because nothing she did was going to make me happy”. She then explained to me, how I was ungrateful that she gave me a free retainer. I was not looking for a free retainer in the first place and had never asked for that. I wanted the job done correctly, and I would have gladly paid if that meant she would care. She also told me that she did not refer to any x-rays or digital images when she adjusted them and that it was my fault because I signed a form refusing them. When I asked her to email me that form, because I did not recall that, she couldn't seem to find it. Instead of working with me to find a resolution she was more interested in placing blame on me. I feel that she wasn't thorough with her work and she didnt take the time to do things properly. If she had, I think this could have been prevented. We are all human, we make mistakes but as a professional she should have taken responsibility and held herself accountable for the role she played in this situation. Now I need more dental work done and she's wiped her hands clean of me. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else, spare yourself the trouble and pay for quality work and for someone who treats you fairly. You do get what you pay for with Dr. Batterson.
