- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was diagnosed for years mitral valve prolapse for years. I carried a card , I showed my dentist etc. It was said to be moderate to severe. I was told at times it wouldn't last and surgery was most likely in my future Then when I would call for appointments I'd get the run around . They wouldn't call back. So , I figured she didn't want to be my dr. As it turned out during another echo cardio it was discovered I have no prolapse . The dr asked me who told you this . I told him and he was silent.
